Cockluck #9
Theme: Each member of the group chose titles for cocktails, then randomly drew them out of a hat. Drinks were created to fit the the title chosen.
Holly: Spring Training
1.50 oz Plymouth gin
0.75 oz Budweiser syrup*
0.50 oz grapefruit juice
0.50 oz Yellow Chartreuse
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe. No garnish.
*Budweiser Syrup
3 12 oz cans Budweiser beer
1 cup sugar
2 whole cinnamon sticks
Add all the ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to low and simmer until reduced by almost half.

25ml Famous Grouse Scotch
15ml St Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
4 dashes orange bitters
Sparkling wine
Stir over ice, top with sparkling wine

2.0 oz Bulliet Rye
0.25 oz Carpano Antica
0.125 oz maple syrup
1.0 oz egg white

Shake with ice, strain, garnish with a coffee bean. (Later we added a few drops of brewed coffee to a couple of the glasses and that was very delicious as well.)

2.0 oz bourbon
.75 oz cinnamon syrup*
.75 oz lemon juice
.75 oz grapefruit juice
A few dashes Angostura Bitters
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, add ice, shake, strain into glass, and top with a Angostura bitters and grapefruit peel.
*Cinnamon Syrup
75g powdered cinnamon, toasted in a stove-top pan then add water, simmer for 10 minutes to reduce, after reduced, add to blender with sugar, blend until smooth

2.0 oz Gin (used Bombay Dry)
0.75 oz strawberry peppercorn shrub
0.125 oz cardamon syrup
Generous dash chocolate bitters
Bordeaux red wine
Light shake with ice, strain, top with a Bordeaux float
Scott: Oscar the Grouch
2.0 oz Green Spot Irish white whiskey
1.0 oz meyer lemon juice
.75 oz simple syrup
1.0 oz egg white
Merlot red wine
Reverse shake: 1st with all ingredients, except egg white, add egg white and ice to shaker, shake again, strain into a coupe, top with a Merlot float and garnish with a broccoli spear head frozen in ice.

50ml Jameson Irish whiskey
15ml Balsamic syrup*
2 dashes orange bitters
2 dashes chocolate bitters
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice and stir to chill, then strain into rocks glass over ice.
*Balsamic syrup:
Use 1 part balsamic vinegar to 4 parts brown sugar. Then add the same weight in hot water and stir to dissolve. Chill before use.

2.0 oz bourbon
0.5 oz brown sugar simple syrup
Dash of Orange bitters
Dash of Old fashioned bitters
Dash of Bittermens Elemakule Tiki bitters
Combine, stir over ice, smoke with a smoking gun, garnish with Army man garnish.

1.5 oz Old Forrester bourbon
3.0 oz Kentucky Bourbon Ale
1.0 oz egg white
0.25 oz Bourbon Cream
